Being a woman in an industrial environment
I’ve been passionate about new technologies since I was a child. So becoming an engineer was a foregone conclusion! During my last year as a student, I became really interested in robotics and Industry 4.0 and made it my specialism. As a woman, I didn’t seem to fit in well with the very masculine image of this industrial environment. In fact I found my niche very easily in a world that was changing dramatically and needed to recruit more young people and more women!
This is also what I enjoy about my experience at agap2. I feel that I am valued, helped and supported in my choice of projects.
